Patto bridge at Goa…

I had recently visited a restaurant in Goa which was close to this Patto bridge. This bridge was built around 1632 and still operational. This bridge was the entry into Panaji across the Mandovi river creek. As I walked across, the thought of so many generations of people using the same bridge came to me as a revelation. The bridge has carried, watched so many people go across and has been a silent observer. If this bridge had memory, it could narrate history of that place so beautifully. A recorded narration of the last 380 years at the bridge could bring life into it.
