Chandra Kumar

I was born as a human being, in a country called India , into a middle class Telugu speaking family which practised  Hindu religion and was affectionately named by my parents as Chandra Kumar.  Having lived through 50+ enjoyable years on this wonderful planet earth, I am still trying to find out why I am here. However, I am very happy and enjoying every moment during this short stay on earth….

    Dear Sir,
    Best Wishes for 2011.,

I was going through the above thoughtful words from you. This line made me to think more “I am still no idea on why I am here though I am happy and enjoying this short stay on earth….” ,
    My sincere thoughts…..
Nobody will have any idea at the “time of birth” why they were born in a particularly which family/geography etc. However as we grow, we grow with our surroundings and try to connect with them in every moment of life, the moments leading to events might also lead to a goal in LIFE at any point of LIFE of a person. If the person sees that it would benefit his/her surroundings and makes him feel good, the person will strive to achieve the same immaterial of being successful or failure.
But the LIFE of an IDEA conceived by the person, which would have transformed his surroundings to a better place to be in will live for long till mankind is there is the BEST thing to happen in anybodies life time.
That’s where we have so many people to look up for who really made the difference to the mankind for getting guidance and make our life to be more meaningful and successful.

    Cheers,
    Bhimrao V Kulkarni

I think the only way one can justify their stay on this planet is to make life easier for their co-inhabitants , in however small a way ….. maybe by just providing reason for a little smile or a passing a positive thought to the ones’ around you. To make it feel fortunate for those around you to have known you …. and my friend, you are well on your way there ! Keep the Good times going !!
Since FRIENDS are the closest people around you … they form a huge part of your world ….
My life means a lot to me,
Not because I Love my life,
But because I Love the people in my Life,
    The World calls them “FRIENDS”
But, I call them “MY WORLD”!!

    Hey Ceekay,
Just Chill! We come to earth to ENJOY and you sure are already doing that. While around we learn and teach others. As you go along life’s path just spread love, happiness, peace and joy- share your wealth of knowledge, expertise and wisdom with others. Be who you want to be!
On a serious note: Life is lived at 3 levels…..BEING, DOING and HAVING…
We all think we must first ‘Have’, then we will ‘Do’ and then we will ‘Be’ what ever we desire. However, in life the reverse is the right order. When we start Being and living in the NOW, we start Doing whatever we are meant to be and finally ‘Have’ whatever we desire.

Coming to CK comments about life cycle of a body is just true and no one can deny it. We all come with nothing in our hands and we leave the world everything in our hearts (especially others)

    Hi CK
Was great going through your thoughts and felt like adding few of my thoughts to it.

Life is mighty, Life is absurd. It is stranger than fiction, yet fiction nevertheless. Life on Earth is acting out, as if you cannot help yourself, you take on a part and you can’t let go of it. You accept a fictitious name and call it true.

Expand your thought, and you are expanded. Your life is not what happens, it is your perception. That’s what it means to say life on Earth is relative. You have a great future and you see the small change. There is much more than what the eye sees. You have been judging the book of your life according to its cover. Beyond the painting on your cover lies the bare canvas it is painted on.
Life Is But a Dream, Undreamed.

A new born baby is the epitome of fragility and potential.
We have stewardship of that little life until it can make its own way in the world.
We must be careful not to fill its head with nonsense, but explain as best we can our answers to the myriad questions, teach it to read to gain access to the wisdom of the ages with the ability to separate the wheat from the chaff ………….. once it allows us enough sleep to function 🙂

Hi CeeKay, I am so glad you have started sharing your thoughts. I have always found in you substance with style. There is always a “casual depth” in whatever you say. And that is true with this comment about LIFE. On the first reading, it is a casual comment. When you read it a second time, it hits you as profound. You have to read it a third time, before one can meaningfully respond! I call your style as “being effortlessly elegant and effective”. Both the brilliance and the humility comes through.

Here is my take on LIFE: Some of us are lucky to be liberally endowed with knowledge, skills and an environment that helped us grow to what we have become today. We can take it easy and “let things be”, or we can immerse in a situation and “make a significant difference”. You have taken the second choice and may you soar and succeed like you have never imagined! Of course, enjoy the journey!

    Dear CK,
When you say you have no idea why you are here, it is the most valid question every human being on this earth should be asking themselves “WHY”?
I personally feel that the word “WHY” is actually the “PURPOSE” that he or she is here for, and purpose is identified with “CHOICE” of what you want to be in life, and choice comes with “EXPERIENCE”. The irony of life on this beautiful planet is that this Environment of Experience is what counts to be either a good or bad human being.
